GREY FOX SLOW JAM TENT

(Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Slow Jam Tent

At the Grey Fox Slow Jam Tent, entry-level players of all ages are encouraged to jam with others at their own speed. Our patient Slow Jam mentors, under the direction of Paul Dube, guide new pickers through well-known bluegrass songs, chord by chord, and provide helpful pointers such as how to tune your instrument, when to take a break, when to back off, what chords to expect, and more basics of jam etiquette. Our newest venue, the Slow Jam Tent is growing in popularity each year. So bring your instrument and join the fun!

"It was rainy, really rainy. I gave a denim cap to a lady I met and asked her to embroider a butterfly on it. In the morning, the sun was shining and I found her and my cap complete with butterfly. Beautiful! Shades of purple sky in one wing and yellow and gold sunshine in the other. Amazing."
