Winners of the Telluride Band Contest, the Hillbenders will perform at Grey Fox on Thursday & Friday, July 16 & 17. These five diversely influenced musicians from all over the country now make Springfield, MO their home, where they all write and arrange their unique brand of bluegrass music. Slightly reminiscent of New Grass Revival, yet extremely original, we feel Grey Fox fans will love the Hillbenders’ edgy songs and dynamic stage presence. Click to watch their videos. Don’t miss Crooked Still on Fri, Jan 8 at 8:00 PM in the Swyer Theatre at The Egg in Albany NY. Small theatre (450 seats). Still great seats available at reasonable price. The band has been in the studio creating a new album that should be out in a few months. Hopefully we will get a taste of some of that. They put on a great show at Grey Fox last summer and we are lucky enough to be getting two days of them this coming summer (Thursday and Friday) in Oak Hill.
