The three main tunes for this year’s Grey Fox Bluegrass Academy for Kids are now ready for download. The tunes for 2010 are: “I’m Blue, I’m Lonesome” (D); “The Fox” (A); and “Soldier’s Joy (D). Download PDF of words and music.

BGA at Grey Fox (a four-day music program for kids) is directed by Brian Wicklund, the Minnesota-based master teacher, touring & recording artist and author of the American Fiddle Method music book series. BGA instructors include Tony Watt, Andrew Van Norstrand, Ira Gitlin, Akira Ostuka, Chris and Mark Panfil, Cathy Goode, Louis Kaplan, Ellen Carlson, Lew Gelfond, Ben Pearce, Kieran McManus and Rachel Panitch. Kids (age 8 and up) learn to play, sing and perform bluegrass music during the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, July 15-18, 2010 on the Walsh Farm in Oak Hill, NY.
