Kathy Mattea joined us for the first time in 2010. The West Virginia native performed with Tim O’Brien at the Master’s Stage. And she was wonderful on the main stage. This is the first of four posts from her main stage show, a Nanci Griffith song, the lovely “Love at the Five and Dime:”

The Hillbenders, a young band from Springfield, MO, impressed the Grey Fox audience with a unique mix of covers and originals. Their youthful, progressive sound, led by fine instrumentation and wonderful vocals (lead vocalist/mandolinist Nolan Lawrence) brought an exuberant sound to the main stage in 2010. And they’re coming back in 2011!
