DANCE PAVILION DAYS AND HOURS:
Wednesday: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Open Mic Night)
Thursday: 5:00 pm to 1:00 am
Friday: 11:00 am to 1:00 am
Saturday: 11:00 am to 1:00 am
Sunday: Open for jamming

If you want to kick up your heels, learn some new steps and dance the night away to your favorite dance bands, this is absolutely the place to be! No need for a partner. Everyone’s welcome!

Every morning at Grey Fox, the Dance Tent starts with a big healthy stretch, led by our very own Yoga instructor Lucy Weberling. She drives all the way from Oklahoma to lead dozens of bluegrass fans for an hour of calm and restorative stretching accompanied by live acoustic music. It's typical for the dance floor to be packed to overflowing for Lucy's energizing classes.

Dancing starts a little later in the day (see your program book) with Contras and Squares taught and called by award-winning dance instructors, John Kirk and Trish Miller with music by Fiddlestyx. Fiddlestyx, a perennial favorite at Grey Fox has been described as, "So Old-time, they're hip!"

Later on, do some free-form dancing (with or without a partner) to red-hot bands from the Main Stage. Check our dance tent schedule to see who will be playing. Woo-hoo! Then keep going into the wee hours at the Grey Fox Dance Tent after the Main Stage has closed for the day! We'll see you there.

PS: If you love to dance to great live bands, check out our sister fest, Rhythm & Roots, on Labor Day Weekend in Charlestown, RI. It's New England's destination festival of roots music, dance and food! If you love Grey Fox, it'll be love at first sight for Rhythm & Roots, too.
