Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival
Oak Hill, New York
Postponed to July 14-17, 2022
To our Grey Fox friends and family,
Postponement to 2022: Last year at this time, we felt certain we’d be on the other side of the global pandemic by now. And we had visions of gathering with our musical family in July on the Walsh Farm. With the rollout of vaccines, and states loosening some restrictions, we were hopeful that Grey Fox 2021 could happen in some fashion. Unfortunately, there are too many unanswered questions, restrictions on gatherings, and potential health risks to be able to move forward at this time. With great sadness, we are postponing the festival to July 14-17, 2022. We feel this is the best for our fans, artists, volunteers, and residents of surrounding communities.
A time of great gratitude: We send huge thanks to all of you who have supported us and the larger bluegrass community through these difficult times. Enormous thanks to the artists who made last year’s virtual Grey Fox such a beautiful experience. And, thanks to our fans whose donations, purchases and ongoing enthusiasm confirms that we have the best fans in the world. Last year when our team and many artists worked their magic to create the virtual Spirit of Grey Fox 2020, we asked fans to open their hearts and wallets to support artists sidelined by the pandemic. Together we raised more than $25,000 for the IBMA Trust Fund for Covid-19 Relief.
Here’s to 2022! Everyone’s generosity and spirit of community continues to be a bright spot for all of us. We look forward to gathering with you all again. Let’s get beyond COVID. You know the drill: get vaccinated, wear a mask, wash your hands, and keep a distance when you’re out and about.
