Serene Green is the collective musical vision of Pennsylvania natives Quentin Fisher; mandolin, Michael Johnson; guitar, Steve Leonard; banjo, and Shane McGeehan; bass. Serene Green’s collective goal is to produce music highlighting its original compositions and individual style, within the framework of traditional bluegrass. Since early 2017, Serene Green has recorded and released two studio albums — “To Whom It Pertains” (2017) and “Have at It” (2019, Patuxent Music) — and has performed at hundreds of music venues and festivals in over fifteen states.

Serene Green has performed in over fifteen states, collaborating or opening for nationally-touring bands and artists, including The Seldom Scene, David Bromberg, Railroad Earth, Sideline, Della Mae, Mile Twelve, Fireside Collective, Cabinet, Larry Keel, Jenni Lyn, and Jacob Jolliff. The band has become an instant favorite at countless festivals, voted “Best New Artist’ at DelFest and winning over audiences at NEPA Bluegrass Festival, Wilmington Winter Bluegrass Festival, Smoked Country Jam, 1000 Islands Bluegrass Festival, and AFBA Festival, among others.
