VIDEO: Josh Williams bring the music to the people

The Josh Williams Band left the main stage when power went out briefly. Josh, being ever the professional (and recently named guitarist of the year and emerging artist by IBMA), was probably thinking back to his earlier days at the festival when he would play under the kids tent. He and the band left the stage and walked to the front of the audience to play. Our video man, Dean, was there, for those in the back who might have had difficulty hearing this performance of “Bartender Blues.”

Grey Fox was happy to have Special Consensus with us again this year. Led by banjoist Greg Cahill, who founded the band in 1975, the group always has a cutting edge sound. Our perennial favorites, The Gibson Brothers, brought their delightful brother harmonies to our stages. There’s just something about the Gibsons, with their sweetly blended vocals, fine musicianship and overall fun stage presence.
