Grey Fox Scholarship Recipients Announced

June 22, 2011: After much deliberation, the Grey Fox Educational Fund Committee is pleased to announce the 2011 recipients of the Grey Fox–Bill Vernon Memorial Scholarship. They are Molly Adkins and Jonathan Demers. Molly Adkins (18) is from Salem, OR. A high school senior, she plays guitar and sings with The Bluegrass Regulators, a band that will showcase at IBMA World of Bluegrass in Nashville, TN this fall. She plans to attend Pacific Lutheran University. Jonathan Demers (24) lives in East Hampton, CT and has been accepted at Berklee College of Music. Grey Fox Kids Academy Tunes Now on Web

The tunes for the 2011 Grey Fox Bluegrass Academy for Kids are ready for download! The academy’s artistic director, master fiddler and renown instructor, Brian Wicklund, has picked three fine tunes for the students to learn and perform this year during Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in Oak Hill, NY. Dixie Bee-Liners in Northeast This Weekend

The Dixie Bee-Liners are gearing up, packing up and heading north for their 2011 Nor’easter Tour. As always, they’ve got something new happening.
