We always love it when Peter Rowan joins us at Grey Fox. Gone are the years when he howled at the moon late into the night. But his music resonates with older folks who remember Old and In the Way and thematic CDs like "Dust Bowl Children" and younger crowds who appreciate his recent rededication to traditional bluegrass and topical songs. A storyteller and a warbler, Rowan never disappoints, joined here by fiddle champion Kimber Ludiker and banjo great Mike Mumford.

The only relation these two share is their love of bluegrass and traditional music and their uncanny skill set. They may not be related, but their singing recalls classic brother harmonies. Musically they feed off one another. The energy is palpable.
