I Draw Slow is not your typical bluegrass band. An Irish band influenced by the sounds of Appalachia, folk, rock, Americana, sixties pop, cinematic soundscapes and even the funereal jazz of New Orleans. OK, sign us up. That is quite different. And we think you’ll love them to, from their ethereal voices to their other-worldly sounds. The group is led by brother-sister songwriting duo Dave Holden (guitar/vocals) and Louise Holden (vocals). Joining them are Konrad Liddy (upright bass), Colin Derham (banjo), and Adrian Hart (fiddle). Their latest album of four is self-titled and was released in 2023. Whether they are playing traditional tunes with clawhammer banjo and fiddle, or rocking out with electric guitar and drums, I Draw Slow always delivers.
