Henry Ferland (Sat)

Winner of the 2025 International Home of the Legends Thumbpicking Championship, Henry Ferland is an extremely talented guitarist who plays melody, rhythm, bass, and percussion simultaneously, often while singing. His performances include Americana, jazz, contemporary songwriters, and an expanding catalog of original compositions. A Berklee College of Music graduate, He overcame a year-long setback due to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands. After 2 surgeries, he made a full recovery to establish himself in the Hudson Valley music scene.  Henry has performed with GRAMMY-winner Tommy Emmanuel, opened for the jazz legend Martin Taylor, and is currently recording and producing his first studio album. His deft musicianship and personable grace win audiences and keep them coming back.
