Originally from Missouri, where he learned fiddle tunes from local masters, Joe now calls North Carolina home. His songwriting prowess has earned him IBMA awards for “Singing As We Rise” and “They Called It Music.” Joe’s musical talents have graced esteemed stages like “A Prairie Home Companion” and “Transatlantic Sessions,” and mighty collaborations with musicians like Mike Compton and April Verch.
