John, Trish & Quickstep (Thu/Fri/Sat)

Fiddle tunes, folksongs and fancy footwork will be featured from this lively ensemble. Quickstep with John Kirk and Trish Miller call dances and they also appear as instrumentalists with a driving dance band. They harmonize with triple fiddles from John Kirk, Sara Milonovich & Jon Simmons who can also be heard playing mandolin & more. Trish plays banjo, guitar and provides fancy footwork with percussive dance steps. David Kiphuth plays banjo and Greg Anderson drives the dances with bass. Together, this group has provided family dance and clogging workshops for over a generation at festivals, camps and parties. Old time music is the basis for their repertoire and they like to mix it up with Celtic tunes, harmony waltzes, originals, humorous songs and friendly step instruction. Bring your water bottle and comfortable shoes to join the community dancing and fun.
