The Clements Brothers (Fri)

It’s tough to call them emerging artists since we’ve seen The Clements Brothers before. But they’ll be taking the stage with that label this year in a new configuration. Grey Fox fans will remember them as a dynamic part of the former Lonely Heartstring Band. But now identical twins George (guitar) and Charles Clements (upright bass) make their return in a trio with Mike Harmon (drums). The twins have been making music together since they were kids, and their tight vocal harmonies and knack for finding just the right melody reflect their deep musical bond. Whether they’re playing original songs or putting their own spin on classics, they blend roots, rock, bluegrass, jazz, and classical influences to create a sound that is both familiar and fresh.
